What this site does with your data
Effective September 14, 2026 · version 2026-09-14-v2. Operated by Synthesis Benefits LLC. Contact: contact@synthesisbenefits.com.
Free browsing and local storage
No account is required. We do not maintain a server-side history of free address searches. Saved comparisons and your analytics preference stay in your browser. We do not sell personal information or use it for targeted advertising. Service providers receive the information described below to operate the site.
Map and agency services
- Typed street addresses are sent to the US Census Bureau geocoder. Town searches use our own town list.
- Selected coordinates are sent through our server to FEMA and the MassGIS parcel service hosted by Esri. Parcel geometry is sent to FEMA for flood overlap. Parcel responses may be cached in memory for up to an hour.
- OpenFreeMap receives map-tile requests; the Bureau of Transportation Statistics receives requests when its noise overlay is enabled. External sites receive information when you follow their links. Those providers handle requests under their own policies.
Paid orders and AI processing
Starting checkout creates an order containing the selected address label, coordinates, town, payment-session identifier and terms-acceptance record. If you pay, we also store the delivery email, amount, payment identifier and delivery/refund status. Stripe receives the selected address and coordinates in checkout metadata, as well as the email and payment information you enter. We do not receive your full card number. Stripe privacy policy.
To generate a purchased brief, we send the selected address label, town and associated public-record facts to DeepSeek through its API. We do not include your payment details or delivery email in that prompt. DeepSeek processes that information under its platform terms and privacy policy; the brief is not generated solely on your device. Do not put sensitive personal details in an address label.
Google Gmail processes delivery and support emails, including the recipient email, address and attached brief. Google privacy policy. Our hosting and operational notification services process order or error information needed to deliver the service and resolve failures. Processing may occur outside your state or country. Public data and AI output can contain errors; see our methodology.
Analytics
Our self-hosted Umami service records page views, referrers, browser/device information, approximate location, pseudonymous visitor/session identifiers and feature events. Events can include the selected town, source category and checkout/delivery outcome. We do not deliberately send typed street addresses or payment details in analytics events. Current tracking omits URL query parameters and fragments. Analytics does not establish your identity, but it is not a guarantee of complete anonymity.
Automated browser checks, development hosts and browsers sending Do Not Track are excluded. Earlier records may include internal testing traffic.

Retention and deletion requests
The 30-day brief link is an access limit, not a deletion deadline. Our daily cleanup applies to the local order and report store:
- Abandoned checkouts: removed after 30 days, once Stripe confirms the session is expired and unpaid.
- Completed reports: PDF, HTML and generated report metadata, along with the order’s address, coordinates and delivery email, are removed after 90 days from payment or completed delivery/refund notification, whichever is later.
- Transaction receipts: minimal payment identifiers, amounts, dates and the accepted policy record are retained for seven years after payment for accounting and dispute handling. These records still link to the transaction; they are not anonymous.
- Exceptions: active delivery, unresolved refunds or notifications, disputes, and legal/support holds pause cleanup. If payment status cannot be verified, removal is deferred for review.
Removal happens on the next successful daily run after a deadline. Keep your emailed PDF if you want a lasting copy. Support messages, analytics, email attachments, Stripe/DeepSeek records and backups are not erased by this local cleanup; these remain subject to separate retention review, provider practices and applicable deletion requests. We do not promise deletion from every provider or backup at the local deadline.
To request access, correction or deletion, email contact@synthesisbenefits.com from the delivery email, with the order reference if available. Do not send card numbers or identity documents. We may ask for enough information to verify the request, explain any records we must retain for legal or transaction purposes, and coordinate removal from systems under our control. Clearing browser storage removes saved comparisons from that browser.
Contact messages and logs
We retain the message, its submission time and any contact details you choose to provide, and forward it to our support mailbox. Do not include sensitive information you do not want processed for support. Routine web access logging is disabled; operational error logs can contain request information needed to diagnose failures.
Changes and questions
We will update the effective date when this policy changes. Material changes to how existing personal information is used will be communicated as required by applicable law. This policy does not limit privacy rights you have under applicable law. Contact Synthesis Benefits LLC at contact@synthesisbenefits.com with privacy questions.
